Ephraim Effi Galgut

Ephraim Effi was born in 1906 in Pretoria,Transvaal,South Africa. Ephraim Effi's father was Max Ber Meier (Max Dov Meyer) Galgut and his mother was Dora Berhrman. His paternal grandparents were Yisroel Galgut and Chana bat Leib. He had three brothers and a sister, named Elia (Elijah Louis), Maurice, Harry and Anne. He was the youngest of the five children.
