Batya Galgut

Batya was born in 1888 in Alezdiai, Lithuania. Batya's father was Leyzer-Yankel Galgut and her mother was Feige. Her paternal grandparents were Moshe Itzyk Galgut and Unk.. She had three brothers named Zalman Leib, Moshe Itzchak and Ben. She was the second oldest of the four children.
